Before issuing tachograph cards, national authorities shall check that the supplicant does not already hold a valid (mainly) driver card. With this regard, the exchange of data between their colleagues from the other EU and non EU - AETR Contracting Parties is inevitable. In the EU, this is done through telematic network called TACHOnet, using TESTA, which specifications are made available in this section of our website.
