Czech Republic
Issuing of tachograph cards
On August 2008, the Czech Republic authorities had already issued 92 059 driver cards, 621 workshop cards, 7 014 company cards, 1 855 control cards for a total of 101 549 cards.
There is no information regarding their planning to connect to TACHOnet.
Approval of workshops
139 workshops have been approved since May 2006.
Enforcement
1 300 control officers have been trained (plus some tens of Alien's Police).
Czech authorities have equipped their control officers with the following equipment:
Software:353 complets, out of which TAGRA 131; TACHOSCAN 220, ZA-ARC2
Hardware: 265 complets, out of which 229 card readers, 33 download keys, 1 Optac, 2 pda-s
