The technical support for coordination of technical experts and quality insurance is provided by SQUARIS.

SQUARIS is in charge of coordinating the technical experts to be hired in the framework of the MIDT project. Expertise is indeed necessary to carry out work on technical issues, such as those relating to computation, electronics, metrology etc.

This expertise might be requested by Member States, by the European Commission and/or by the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE-AETR).

SQUARIS will ensure that its team members, who are independent experts, can be made available whenever their expertise is considered as necessary.
SQUARIS will also ensure the quality insurance of the work performed by the different stakeholders of the MIDT project.

SQUARIS was already in charge of the coordination of technical experts in the IDT project from 2002-2004 (EU contract referenced B2000-B2702B-SI2.155280/P B3 99).
