CYBELE coordinates the different activities to be carried in the framework of the MIDT project. CYBELE is the interface between the Member States' experts, and between these experts and the Commission as well as the UNO.

CYBELE is in charge of:

• The organisation of meetings,
• The coordination of the work to be performed by the experts gathered in the different committees and working groups,
• The monitoring of the deadlines and of the deliverables,
• The setting up and the maintenance of the web site,
• The setting up and the maintenance of the Help Desk.

CYBELE has, in the same field, been involved as a Project Manager:

• In the EU Project (referenced B 99-B27020 10 - SI2 - 124740/I B399014/SNRA) dealing with Regulations (EEC) n° 3820/85 (drivers' hours' rules) and (EC) n° 2135/98 introducing the digital tachograph;
• In the Implementation of the Digital Tachograph (IDT) EU project (referenced SUB/B27020B/E1/507.14876/2002) aiming at defining solutions for the Member States to, among others, issue tachograph cards, approve workshops, enforce the drivers' hours' rules, etc.
